make an ideal location to explore the world-renowned Jurassic coastline.
Originally a 16th century coaching inn, the Old Monmouth is a family
run business that offers comfortable bed and breakfast hospitality in
an historic building. Within easy walking distance of the town and its
many restaurants, you will be able to experience the many aspects of
Lyme Regis; its fossil laced cliffs, it's old watermill, coastal walks,
fascinating architecture, diving on the many wrecks, sea fishing and
freshwater fly-fishing, nature watching (dolphins, seals and occasionally
basking sharks are seen in the bay), music and plays performed at the
Marine theatre, new release films at our art deco cinema, sunbathing
on the golden sands and endless hours of exploration of the rock-pools
at low-tide, there is quite literally something for everyone.
To ensure you have a great start your day, David will cook you a hearty
breakfast, vegetarians are catered for and should you require a special
diet, just let us know and we shall do everything we can to cater for
your needs.
